The highly anticipated Live at The Village Music Festival emerges from a pandemic haze to present a day-long music festival on Saturday 27 August 2022. Featuring some of Australia’s most evocative contemporary artists, Live at the Village Music Festival presents an updated program with a renewed passion for presenting high-level live music. A day of performances straddling the genres of acclaimed and world-class Australian artists, with headliners such as jazz icon Sandy Evans, the ARIA-nominated Zela Margossian Quintet, two music fusionists from world rewarded by the ARIA, the Mara! Big Band and Bluegrass cherished by the Morrisons. The festival program includes jazz, folk, world music and bluegrass and dance performances presented in partnership with the Blue Mountains’ premier destination for the performing arts, the Blue Mountains Theatre. Festival Artistic Director Gary Daley said, “This event is the realization of a long-standing ambition: to bring together a series of master musicians, with diverse and compelling influences, at our very own Blue Mountains Theater and Cultural Hub in Springwood. .
