Northern Nights, electronic music festival with legal cannabis use, back in 2022 – EDM.com

The Northern Nights Cannabis Festival welcomes electronic music fans to the Wet Side again in 2022.

The organizers of Northern Nights have announced that the festival will return to California’s idyllic redwood forest from July 15-17, 2022 at Cook’s Valley Campground in Piercy. They have put together an exceptional lineup for the 2022 edition of the event, which will feature performances by TroyBoi, CloZee, SNBRN, Elderbrook, J. Worra, Claude VonStroke and Qrion, among others. Other artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

One of the most unique features of the boutique electronic music festival is its River Stage, where fans can float down the sun-drenched Eel River while playing live music.

Northern Nights’ resistance piece, however, is its cannabis-centric philosophy. According to a press release, it is the first music festival to have legal on-site sales and consumption of recreational cannabis. Next year, attendees will be able to participate in ‘Medicated Dinners’ and ‘Cannabis Yoga’, among other bespoke experiences offered at their pioneering Tree Lounge drinking space.

And the participants will not smoke dirt. The 2019 Tree Lounge showcased the heads of a number of powerful players in the cannabis industry from the Emerald Triangle, the largest cannabis-producing region in the United States. Ergo, participants will literally live the high life.
