OneRepublic to headline UAE Amplified Music Festival in November 2022

A world-class music festival is coming to Abu Dhabi in November…

Just when you thought Abu Dhabi’s event calendar couldn’t get any wilder, the emirate has pulled out the crossfader for another epic beat drop – Amplified Music Festival will be heading to Abu Dhabi between the 11th and the November 13 this year.

Taking place at Yas Links Abu Dhabi, headliners for the event include OneRepublic, Ministry of Sound and Cigarettes After S** (if you know, you know) and tickets for this first massive regional event will go on sale. , today Monday October 3 from noon and will be available via the website.

Day access tickets are priced at 149 Dhs, the Golden Circle from 249 Dhs, and a Weekend Golden Circle Festival pass will be available for just 499 Dhs.

Live Nation sits on a throne of world-class fiesta credibility, a brand whose work includes such prestigious global festival phenoms as Lollapalooza and the Electric Daisy carnival. They are also the team responsible for bringing Sting to Abu Dhabi in January 2023.

The inaugural Abu Dhabi Amplified festival takes place over three days, with the three headliners mentioned above – who deliberately mix the musical genres of pop rock, funk and soul – taking the lead each day.

Built on a platform of poetic lyrics, musical craftsmanship, catchy hooks, instrumental mastery, impeccable vocals and a back catalog of unequivocal sing-a-long-bangers – stadium rock outfit , OneRepublic is the perfect candidate to headline a music festival. Ministry of Sound Disco: November 12

No, that’s not the boomer term for a “club,” or the popular circular salt-and-vinegar crunchy snack. This nightclub is the sonic experience of one of the oldest dynasties in vibrant music, Ministry of Sound – landing in the capital with a 15-piece Funk and Soul band paying for that most craving for dance, feel-good genre musical — disco. Cigarettes After S**: November 13

Fresh off their sold-out two-night stint at Dubai’s Hard Rock Cafe, bubblegum-emo and indie pop-rock trio Cigarettes After S** will bring down the curtains at Abu Dhabi’s first amplified music festival – in the the most ambient soul way. Their first single, Nothing’s Gonna Hurt You Baby, was covered by cult series The Handmaid’s Tale and their most streamed track Apocalypse, has (at the time of writing) enjoyed nearly half a billion streams.
