Sherdley Park Northern Love Music Festival Tickets On Sale


TICKETS go on sale today, Saturday, for a music festival celebrating the rich musical history of northern England at Sherdley Park next summer.

Taking place on Saturday July 16, Northern Love is a new boutique festival hitting the calendar in 2022.

Rising amid the expansive grounds of Sherdley Park, the full-day event will invite revelers to enjoy a full day of great live music and good feelings in the heart of the north.

Already preparing a triumphant “second coming”, Northern Love will be titled by The Clone Roses of St Helens.

After taking over Spike Island: The Resurrection sold out last year, in 2022, Gav, Tony, Baggy, and Phil will be bringing everything home to the crowd that has loved them from the very beginning.

From “One Love” to “10 Storey Love Song,” expect the Clones to say it with Roses when they win their hometown hearts again with a bigger hits set designed for the masses.

A love letter to the rich musical history of the North, the festival will also host a flight of high profile tributes to occur throughout the day.

Live sets from prominent actors such as Oas-is, Courtbetweneers, The Smiths Ltd, Happy Mondaze, True Order, Buzzcocks, The Charlatunes, Transmission: The Sound of Joy Division, The Rolling People: Verve Tribute will be reminding audiences why bands from the north of England are so popular around the world.

Plus, sporting the flag of one of the Northwest’s most beloved artists, Inspiral Carpets originals Clint Boon and Tom Hingley will both make appearances at the festival.

Inspirals chief organ rector and legendary XS Manchester presenter Clint will present northern classics the only way he knows how, in one of his signature DJ sets. While Hingley (the singer of Inspiral Carpets between 1989 and 2011) will perform many sensational Inspirals hits, from “This is How it Feels” to “Saturn Five”, when he takes the stage with his current band: The Kar- domestic animals.
