Suwannee Rising Music Festival has released the lineup of artists for the 2022 edition of the festival, returning for the third year to its home of the beautiful Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, Florida from April 7-9, 2022. Suwannee Rising will offer a diverse mix of nearly 30 live artists on two stages for a three-day weekend filled with jam, funk, jazz, soul, rock, blues, and more.

The 2022 festival will feature St. Paul and the Broken Bones, the eight-piece soul band from Birmingham, AL, who have just released their fourth album The Alien Coast, as well as a headliner from Durand Jones & The Indications , Bloomington’s retro-soul band IN, whose latest album, Private Space, spans funk and disco.

The eclectic lineup continues with a special set from New Orleans bassist and funk legend George Porter Jr., playing the music of his band The Meters with Dumpstaphunk; more New Orleans funk with Galactic; American Southern rock/blues band North Mississippi All-Stars; groove and soul piano prodigy Neal Francis; funk, five-piece electronic dance band from London, Frank Moody; American soul singer Maggie Rose; the funk quintet from Richmond, Virginia, Butcher Brown; Seattle-based progressive funk, psychedelic rock and modern afro-beat collective, Polyrhythmics. More bands on the lineup include Magnolia Boulevard; Joe Marcinek Band with Jason Hann, Steve Molitz and Ola Timothy; Brother and sister; Daniel Donat; Bonnie Blue; Electric kif; Erin and the Wildfire; Cowford; heater

Gillis Band, Ernie Johnson of Detroit; Lemon City Trio; Scholars of the soul; Headtones; Jonez merger; bear toe; Albert Simpson; The comeback; and more.

Attendees will enjoy three days of music (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) on two stages: the amphitheater and the porch stage. There will be three nights of primitive camping (Thursday, Friday and Saturday); upgraded sites will be available for an additional fee.
