Tom Jones and Craig David revealed as Oxfordshire music festival headliners
Sir Tom Jones and Craig David are just a few of the must-see acts in the main event stage for the 40th anniversary of the Henley Festival.
The Henley Festival today revealed its lineup for this year’s 40th anniversary celebrations, from Wednesday 6th to Sunday 10th July.
The festival – the classiest event of its kind, with a black-tie dress code – takes place alongside the River Thames at the site of the city’s royal regatta, using much of the infrastructure of the regatta.
Festival-goers are invited to be part of five nights full of musiccomedy, art, dance, gastronomy and fireworks.
Comedians such as Jo Brand, Russell Kane and Ivo Graham will keep audiences laughing at the festival’s award-winning Comedy Club.
Headlining the floating stage on Wednesday night will be hit Irish trio, The Script. The evening will close with Euro-disco phenomenon Boney M, with original singer Liz Mitchell performing international hits at the Festival Club.
Craig David, will perform an epic evening of his most beloved hits on the Floating Stage on Thursday.
The legendary Sir Tom Jones will perform Friday night with music from his 41st studio album Surrounded By Time.
On Saturday, revered DJ, broadcaster and global dance music legend Pete Tong, along with The Heritage Orchestra and Jules Buckley, will present an evening of iconic classical electronic music.
The festival will conclude with a special concert on Sunday evening, with an exclusive list of special guests to be announced.
