Top line-up for the Southdowns Music Festival
Chairman Roger Nash is delighted with the lineup for this year’s Southdowns Music Festival.
“There will be a fantastic offer of free entertainment for locals and visitors alike, including the hugely popular Southdowns Ukulele Festival, the glittering second Shanty Showdown, the Southdowns Dance Festival with nine colorful dance groups, the new Bognor Radio Respect Music Stage on the closed waterfront, fascinating craft and market stalls, a real beer festival, music sessions, choirs, workshops, great entertainment for children and free events in eight different locations. What’s not to love!
“The festival will be centered around the Regis Center and Alexandra Theater with other venues including the William Hardwicke, Hothampton Arms, Dog & Duck, RAFA Club, London Road area, newly refurbished St Maur’s Place , Waterloo Square as well as the closed waterfront between Clarence Road and Lennox Street
“Ticketed headline gigs include the legendary Lindisfarne on September 24, the famous Spiers & Boden on September 22, a double-header on September 23 with up-and-coming Wrest and The Leylines, and September 25 the fabulous Men They Couldn’ t Hang.
